Dwarf Williams pear
Dwarf Williams pear is a 2 - 2.5 metre high version of the The Williams pear. It has become the standard pear variety grown pretty much worldwide. High quality pear with smooth flesh and lovely aroma. Soft skinned and easily bruised, it ripens early to mid season, very good for bottling – keeps its shape and flavour when cooked, seems to do well in many different climates, stands the cold better than most others. The Williams pear has some self fertility - will set a crop when planted on its own.
Pollinates with: Some Self fertility, or with Beurre Bosc, Winter Nelis, Winter Cole, Douyenne Du Comice
