Dwarf Geeveston Fanny apple, makes a two metre tree at full maturity.This variety was widely grown in Tasmania for many decades, small reddish-purple apple with a sweetly flavoured white flesh is ideal for both cooking and as a dessert apple, very popular in the 1970s, important commercially in part because of it resistance to disease, one of the favourites of Clive Winmill (who owned the Badgers Keep collection of over two thousand apples)
